Peter Amos is a guitarist, composer, and educator in the Hampton Roads area of Virginia.
Following his graduation from college, Peter moved to New York City, where he performed in jazz clubs, art spaces, avant garde theater productions, converted auto-body shops, and subway stations. He now lives in Newport News, where he performs, writes, and maintains a large private studio.
Peter also performs regularly in a duo with guitarist Tony Mata. They are known as M.A.d. Guitar. Keep up with them here.
The following original compositions were recorded in Red Hook, Brooklyn in October 2017. Except the last one, which is a Charlie Parker tune, and was recorded in an art gallery in Chelsea.
